$ 1.2 billion U.S. asset manager hires former Fidelity CIO as chief investment officer



Northern Trust Asset Management has appointed Angelo Manioudakis as Chief Investment Officer.

He will officially take office on September 27 and was most recently a managing partner of Boston-based alternatives firm Lantern Harbor Investment Partners, which he co-founded.

Earlier in his career, Manioudakis was also CIO for Global Asset Allocation at Fidelity, where he oversaw improving investment performance on approximately $ 500 billion (€ 426.8 billion) in assets. , and contributed to the growth of the company’s outsourced CIO activity.

As part of his new responsibilities, he will focus on the investment performance, process and philosophy for all of Northern Trust Asset Management‘s products.

He will chair the Company’s Investment Policy Committee, which sets the investment policy for all Northern Trust groups across all asset classes, and will report to the Chairman of Northern Trust Asset Management, Shundrawn Thomas.
